Will Trower is a seasoned executive and advisor specializing in financial leadership, strategy, transactions, and business performance improvement across the resources and manufacturing sectors.
He is the President and Founder of Orion Advisory Services, specializing in strategy, transaction support, financial performance improvement, and interim/fractional CFO services for businesses in the resources and manufacturing sectors. Drawing on expertise in strategic planning, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and business improvement, Will partners with clients to drive growth, optimize performance, and enhance competitiveness.
He has previously served as CFO of ArcelorMittal Long Products Canada, Spectra Premium Mobility Solutions and the Metal Processing division of The Heico Companies, where he drove business performance through strategic partnerships, cost reduction and value-based decision making. He excels at aligning business strategies with financial objectives to achieve measurable results. Additionally, Will has held leadership roles, including Vice President of Business Modelling at PwC, Director of Joint Venture Finance and Governance at Rio Tinto and Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) at Brookfield Renewable.
Will holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Finance from McGill University in Montreal.
